Sunday School Classes


There's a place for you in our Sunday School! You're invited to visit any of our classes. The Church School hour is 9:45 AM. Worship services are at 8:30 and 11:00 AM. Children

Sunday School classes are held for children of all ages from two years old through the 5th grade. The United Methodist curriculum is used for their lessons. Age groupings are according to public school requirements. (Please refer to the map for the room number for each group.)

Adults

Delos Corderman Class
A reasonably mature fellowship of adult singles and couples which uses a discussion format each Sunday. Four to five books per year are used by this class. Biblical studies, ethics, current issues, and current church studies are some of the topics discussed. Room 120 in Asbury Hall

Friends In Faith class
All age adult women are invited to this class for Bible study and fellowship. Room MC017*

Families In Christ Class
This class is designed for families with elementary-age, high school, and college-age children. Their studies include a wide range of issues relating to the family and to the Christian faith. Room 204 & 205

Fellowship Class
A senior adult class which uses the Adult Bible Study series for their lessons. Single adults and couples are welcome. Room 154/155

New Life in Christ
An adult class, which will challenge your thoughts. This class deals with personal, family and current event issues with a biblical understanding. Fellowship and lively discussion highlight this class. MC007

Ladies Bible Class
A class of senior adult women who use the Adult Bible Study Series to become more aware of the faithfulness of God in their lives through study, meditation and prayer. Room 149

Open Door Class
The Open Door Class is open to adults in all age groups. The class does in-depth study of the Bible, always seeking to discover how biblical truths can become part of our daily life. Room MC013

Stepping Stones Class
Young adult couples or singles are invited to attend this class. Their studies include a wide range of issues relating to their life and faith. Room MC005

Wesleyan Disciples Class
This adult class studies a wide range of topics including family and social concerns, national and world issues, as well as Bible study. Class participation is encouraged. Room MC003

Today’s Faith Class
This new class is for young couples exploring their faith and everyday life. Room 206

Higher Power Class
Young adult women ages 18-35, single and married, who want to strengthen their Christian faith through Bible study, service and fellowship. The class discusses relevant issues using Jesus Christ as their "higher Power" and guide. Room 205

Nursery

The nursery is staffed with paid and volunteer workers.The children are separated into three rooms— one for infants, one for toddlers, and one for two and three year old children. Each room is equipped with age-level appropriate furnishings.

Nurseries are provided for 8:30 and 11:00 AM worship services and 9:45 AM Sunday School. Any other church-wide activity will also have a nursery available to those who need this service.
