Secretary/Treasurer - Jean Barbour - 749-2441

Age range:

Mission supported - John's Island Rural Missions

The Questers is a UMW Study Group, which chooses one book per year to read and discuss. The books are Bible studies, or are books that focus on Christian outreach, or are books discussing ways to be a better Christian.

There is lots of "class participation" in a small, informal group setting. All UMW programs and fundraisers are supported. Any woman church member (and this includes circle members) is welcomed to visit and/or join the group.

The purpose of this Study Group is to give women a time to slow down and to focus on their spiritual growth in a quiet setting (no one has to serve refreshments or clean their house.) We meet at the church on the third Tuesday at 7 PM, for about one hour. In December we meet at a member’s home to visit and read the Christmas story together.
