CONFERENCE EVENTS: We are part of the
South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Our church is an
active part in the life of the Conference, including having our youth
serve on the Conference Council on Youth Ministries which plans, prepares,
and implements these events!
AGAPE RALLY: This is a UMYF where the entire program is planned, implemented, and led by the Agape! This UMYF is full of games, singing, prayer, human videos, dancing, testimonies, and more!
DISTRICT AND SUBDISTRICT RALLEYS: Continually throughout the year we gather with other United
Methodist Churches to celebrate Gods Love and our Christian Unity in fun,
fellowship, food, and spiritual growth!
SPRINGMAID: This awesome Spiritual Life Retreat. Jr high Springmaid was in November of this year and Sr. High Springmaid is January 28-30, 2005. This South Carolina Conference event is perfect for filling your soul and spirit to get you through the semester. It is a time to grow closer to God and the other youth in our group!
LAKE JUNALUSKA: This is the Assembly Ground for the Southeastern United Methodist Church! We have two retreats here every year: the Confirmation Retreat and the Summer Youth Event. The summer youth event is the absolute best in spiritual depth, fun, and developing Christian relationships with people from all over the Southeastern US.
ASBURY HILLS: This is an outdoors recreational camp! It is open to
all ages and offers a wide variety of different camps! We also use this
camp for some of our church retreats!
SALKEHATCHIE: This is an awesome
Service Camp that runs throughout the summer so all youth have an
opportunity to go. The youth spend the week with other youth from all over
the state devoting their time to rebuilding/ revitalizing the homes of
those less fortunate. It is a life changing experience in which you will
see the face of God!
